On the occasion of this year's World Tourism Day on "Sustainable Tourism - A Tool for Development", representatives of regional politics, tourism associations and companies from 15 regions from Austria, Germany and Switzerland met at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna.

Invited by the Federal Ministry for Science, Research and Economy (BMWFW) in co-operation with the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Swiss State Secretariat and accompanied by the MODUL University Vienna - and Christian Baumgartner - the topics sustainable growth (employment, infrastructure, Innovation), resource efficiency, environmental protection and climate change as well as cultural assets and natural heritage at the center of the event.
